BETHEL CHURCH PROGRAMMES / MINISTRIES

 1.FAL (Functional Adult Literacy) TRAINING PROGRAMME.
Under this programme we are training all the adult members who did not have an opportunity to going to school how to read, write and speak English.

2.CHURCH LEADERS INTENSIVE TRAINING PROGRAMME.
This is the programme that was designed by BETHEL CHURCH-FORTPORTAL to train all the Pastors/ church leaders, assistants together with their wives in various skills including Theology. In extending these trainings nearer to the people we have started Ministry Extension Schools which will cover all the districts of western Uganda and many pastors and church leaders shall be trained and benefit because of many of them do not have an opportunity and / or time to go in the Theological colleges. We as a ministry have seen it working when these trainings reach nearer to the communities Youth leaders, Choir Leaders, Worship Leaders and many others get an opportunity of being trained and the Kingdom of God is expanded. We are looking for men and women of God to stand with us in all these programmes but majorly this one.

3.WIDOWS AND ORPHANS EMPOWERMENT (WAOE).

This is the programme that is helping the widows and orphans plus people with disabilities. Under this programme we are giving Medical care and treatment of different diseases, school fees and other scholastic materials to all the registered school going orphans, destitute children and other vulnerable children in Primary and Secondary Schools.

Widows are empowered to start up self help projects to boost their income to help themselves and their homes and be able to give care to those orphans and other needy people they are staying with in their homes. Again this is the programme that gives care to the elderly and the aged people in this region of Western-Uganda and Kabarole District in Particular.

4.HIV AND AIDS PROGRAMME

This is the programme that is designed to gather and care for all the infected and affected with HIV & AIDS epidemic, both young and old, in school and out school, married and singles.

5.WOMEN EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME

This is the programme that is designed to train all women in and outside the church in various skills like handcrafts, tailoring, Secretarial Studies e.t.c. some of the products we produce do sell them to support other programmes like Orphans, Widows and disabled people.

6.YOUTH PROGRAMME

This is the programme that gathers all the youth in the church and the Christian community in western Uganda and we do hold two seminars in a year.
